My Experience

Last week, I went to Exeter Arena Skatepark and I have to say that I was impressed with how it has been rebuilt by Maverick! The skatepark now has a street plaza style, with a decent sized open area and multiple obstacles that will keep any skater entertained for hours.

One of the things that I loved about this skatepark was the variety of obstacles available. From rails, ledges, a gap, banks, quarter-pipe to manual pads, there is something for everyone here. The fact that it is surrounded by a large bank on one side with quarter-pipe and large bank at either end, really adds an extra element to the skatepark that I haven’t seen before. Skaters can really get creative and try out some new tricks.

The course is not the biggest or most challenging that I have seen but it is definitely a good offering for those who want to practise the basics. The surface here isn’t the smoothest ride, but it’s still very manageable. One of the things that I appreciated about Exeter Arena Skatepark is how simple and small it is. You don’t have to be a professional skater to have fun here, it’s perfect for beginners or for those who want to relax and take it easy.
