Experience the Thrill at Willenhall Skatepark

Willenhall Skatepark, located in the heart of Willenhall Memorial Park, is one of the best skateparks in Walsall designed and built by Wheelscape in 2014. Known for its all-concrete design, this skatepark offers a variety of street and transition elements to cater to every skater’s needs.

Starting from one end, the skatepark has a raised level that features a long quarter pipe with an extension. On one side of the quarter pipe is a small square bowl with a roll-in on one side and a spine on the other. The bowl leads into a larger bowl split into two halves with a spine and a pump bump. One half is deeper than the other, and in one corner, there is a stair set, rail, and hubba leading to the raised level. Along the long side of the skatepark is a run that starts with a flat bank leading up to a hubba and finishes with a wedge.

Willenhall Skatepark is a great spot for locals and visitors alike, especially for those who love transitions. The skatepark offers a nice rhythm run that skaters can go back and forth along, and the bowls have a lot of bumps and corners to pump around. The surfaces are smooth and fast, making it an ideal place for beginners and experienced skaters to practice and have fun.

My Experience

Willenhall Skatepark: A Great Spot for Skating Enthusiasts

Last week, my friends and I visited Willenhall Skatepark and it was a blast. The skatepark, designed and built by Wheelscape back in 2014, is a concrete paradise for skateboarders and BMX riders alike. It features both street and transition elements, making it a great local spot if you’re into transitions.

The elevated level of the skatepark has a long quarter pipe running along the back side with an extension. Off one side of that is a small square bowl that has a roll-in on one side and is spined on the other with a jump box that leads into a larger bowl. The larger bowl is split into two halves with a spine and a pump bump with one section being deeper than the other. In one corner, it is lead into with a stair set, rail, and hubba from the elevated level. Along the long side of the course is a run that starts with a flat bank leading up to a hubba and finishing with a wedge.
