My Epic Day at Whatman Skatepark
Last week, I visited Whatman Skatepark with my buddies and it was a blast! We are all big fans of skateboarding and were excited to check out this park for the first time. The park is located in a quiet area and has a spacious parking area, which is always a plus.
The first thing that caught our attention was the design of the park. Whatman Skatepark is made up of metal-framed timber ramps on a tarmac base. It looked so cool and well-maintained. The park features a back and forth run with a quarter pipe and flat bank either side of a funbox. The ramps were perfect for beginners like me and my friends, as well as more experienced skaters.
The park was not too crowded on the day we visited, so we had plenty of space to practice our moves without getting in each other’s way. The atmosphere was also very chill and relaxed, everyone was having a good time, and there was a positive vibe all around.
One of the best things about Whatman Skatepark was the variety of obstacles available. We spent most of our time on the quarter pipe and funbox, but there were also rails, ledges, and gaps to jump over. It was like having our own private skatepark for the day.
The tarmac base of the park was smooth and made for a good ride without any bumps or cracks. The ramps were also solid and sturdy, giving us confidence to try new tricks and push ourselves to the limit.
Overall, our day at Whatman Skatepark was one of the best skateboarding experiences we’ve had. We highly recommend this park to anyone who loves skateboarding, whether you’re a beginner or a pro.
