Skating at Wandle Park Skate Park

Last week, my buddies and I decided to check out Wandle Park Skate Park. We were pleasantly surprised to see how well integrated and nicely balanced the park was. Opened by Freestyle in March 2012, this skate park is tucked away in the corner of Wandle Park, and boasts a smooth concrete surface with a grass patch in the middle. The park features some interesting and unique lines, making it a great place to skate.

The park consists of three main sections. At one end, there is a mini ramp with one side that opens up into the rest of the park.
