My Experience

Last week, I had the chance to visit Teignmouth skatepark and I must say, I was blown away! The park was designed and built by Wheelscape and was opened in 2010. It’s located right on the beach front which is a great view for anyone skating there. The skatepark is solely a plaza style street park, which is perfect for street skaters like myself.

The park is divided into different sections, starting with a raised level that leads down to the lower level with a flat bank that features a ledge, rail & a small stair set. Following this is an up and down bank in the middle that has a roll over to one side, a scoop in the middle, and a wave ledge. The end of the course features a flat bank with an extension on the corner and also in the middle and the flat bank curves around and runs along the long side. The selection of obstacles here is great and they are well spaced out to give time to adjust on those long lines.

I really enjoyed skating here! The obstacles were challenging but also fun to skate. The park was relatively empty when I went, so I had plenty of space to skate around without worrying about colliding with anyone. The atmosphere was also really laid back, which made the experience even better.

Overall, I would highly recommend Teignmouth skatepark to anyone who loves street skating. It’s a great local spot that’s definitely worth checking out. If you’re in the area, don’t hesitate to stop by and give it a try. Trust me, you won’t regret it! Teignmouth skatepark is the perfect place to show off your street skating skills.
