My Experience

Last week, me and my squad checked out Stow cum Quy’s mini ramp at Quy Recreation Ground. Let me tell you, this place was a total skater’s paradise!

The ramp itself is pretty old school – it’s made of metal and definitely shows its age. But don’t let that fool you – it’s still super fun to ride! There are plenty of opportunities for all kinds of tricks, from grinds and slides to big airs and flips. And since it’s located within the recreation ground, there’s plenty of space to practice and try out new moves.

One thing we really appreciated about this spot was how laid-back and chill the vibe was. The other skaters there were all super friendly and welcoming, and we had a great time hanging out and watching each other’s moves. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of camaraderie you get when you’re all pushing each other to improve and have fun.

Of course, one downside of the mini ramp being located in a public recreation area is that it can get pretty crowded. We definitely had to take turns and wait for our chance to ride, especially during peak hours. But even that wasn’t too big of a deal – we just used the downtime to chat and catch our breath.

Overall, I’d say that Stow cum Quy’s mini ramp is a must-visit spot for any skater in the area. It may be an aging metal design, but it’s still a blast to ride and the atmosphere is unbeatable. If you’re looking for a fun and welcoming place to skate with your friends, this is definitely it!
