My Experience

Hey there fellow skaters! Last week, I checked out Stantonbury Skatepark and I gotta say, it’s a pretty cool spot. The park has a small, back-and-forth style set up with some sweet obstacles including a ledge, rollover, spine, quarter pipe, and flatbank.

What’s even more impressive is that the park was just built last July by Bendcrete, after the previous timber mini ramp built by One Four One was destroyed by vandals in July 2018. It’s great to see the community come together to rebuild and improve this awesome spot for us skaters.

The concrete surface of the park makes for a smooth ride and the obstacles are set up in a way that allows for some sick lines and combos. I especially loved the quarter pipe, which was the perfect size for a fun and challenging ride.

The park itself is not huge, but it’s still worth checking out. There were a few other skaters there when I went, but it wasn’t too crowded, so we all had plenty of space to shred. Plus, the atmosphere was super chill and everyone was just there to have a good time.
