My Experience

Last week, my best friends and I headed to St Mellons skatepark to get our skate on. We were stoked to check it out and see what tricks we could pull off on the metal ramps. The park is situated on a skatelite base which gave us a smooth surface to glide on.

The design of the skatepark is pretty sick. It features a back and forth run that has a quarter pipe and flat bank on either side of a funbox. This set up allowed us to practice and show off some of our favorite moves. It was especially cool to see how we could incorporate the funbox into our runs.

The park was pretty busy, but we managed to find some space to carve up the ramps. There was a good mix of skaters, from beginners to more experienced ones. Everyone was friendly and supportive, which made the experience even better.

One thing we particularly liked about St Mellons skatepark was the lighting. We skated until it got dark, and the lights made it easy to see and continue our session. It was so cool to see the park transformed at night, all lit up and glowing.

Overall, we had a blast at St Mellons skatepark. The ramps were challenging but fun, and the park had a great vibe. We left feeling energized, excited to come back and skate there again soon. If you’re looking for a skatepark that ticks all the boxes, St Mellons is definitely worth checking out. We highly recommend it!
