My Experience at Rainham Skatepark

I had an awesome time at Rainham Skatepark last week with my buddies. The park is located in Cozenton Park and was opened in 2011. As soon as we arrived, we were impressed with the medium-sized all-concrete park.

The bowl is a standard shape made up of a kinked rectangle with a flat bottom, small extension and coping around the edges. We loved the curved ledge and curved rail on the platform around the top of the bowl. It was so much fun to ride down the long kinked flat bank that leads into the street section. There is also a rail, hubba and stair set on the flat bank that opens up onto a driveway with a rail, hubba and tall volcano.

The back two corners of the park are where we spent most of our time. We loved the hipped bank with a curved ledge on top and the taco with flat banks on either side of it. The park was not too crowded, and there was plenty of space between the obstacles. It made it easy for us to try out new tricks and moves.

I found Rainham Skatepark to be a great local park with something for everyone. The surfaces were smooth, and we had no issues with the equipment. If you’re in the area, I would definitely recommend checking out this park. It’s perfect for skaters of all abilities.
