Last week, me and my best friends decided to check out Portobello Skatepark, and I must say, it was pretty rad! The park is made out of concrete and has a lot of street features that we were all itching to try out.
One end of the park has a mini ramp which was perfect for those who wanted to practice their flips and ollies. The rest of the park was full of ledges, rails, hips and hubbas that we were dying to grind and slide on. It was definitely a challenge, but that’s what made it all the more fun.
The park was fairly busy when we arrived, but that didn’t stop us from having a good time. The energy there was amazing, everyone was hyped and cheering each other on. We even made some new friends who showed us a few new tricks.
What I loved the most about Portobello Skatepark was how well maintained and clean it was. The staff there did an excellent job with keeping the place tidy and ensuring everyone’s safety. We didn’t have to worry about any bumps or cracks in the concrete, which made it easier for us to focus on our skating.
