My Experience

Last week I had the opportunity to visit North Wingfield skatepark and I must say I was impressed! This is a must-visit spot for all skateboard lovers out there! If you’re looking for a place to improve your skills or simply hang out with your friends, then this is the perfect spot for you.

The park is set in a field right in the centre of town, which makes it easily accessible. The ramps are arranged in a squared pattern, with a mini ramp on one side of the park, complete with a flat bank and a quarter pipe running off the top platforms. Adjacent to these are another quarter pipe and flat bank, making it perfect for beginners who are still getting to grips with the basics.

The middle of the park is home to a driveway and a mellow pyramid, with the return ramps comprising of a bowled corner and a flat bank that is angled to face inwards. The surfaces are smooth and there’s a decent set of obstacles for skateboarders to enjoy.
