My Experience

Revamped George Lambton Skatepark in Newmarket

Last week, my friends and I decided to check out the newly revamped George Lambton Skatepark in Newmarket. We were impressed by the transformation from the old timber and metal ramps to an all concrete skatepark. The new surface provided a smooth ride and gave us a more authentic skating experience.

The park is well designed with a full-width quarter-pipe ramp, which is perfect for practicing tricks. The large bank in the middle was great for testing our skills and pushing ourselves to try new things. The sizable metal hubba to one side was also a favorite of ours, providing a great challenge for our grinds.

One of the most unique features of the park is the spine which is attached to a roll-in ramp. This allowed us to try out some different tricks and practice some new moves. The quarter-pipe amp, open ended bowl and wave roll-in ramp on the other side of the roll-in ramp provided a great variety of skating options.

Overall, we had an amazing time at the George Lambton Skatepark. The new design was well thought out and provided us with a great place to skate. The park was not overcrowded, so we had plenty of space to skate and practice our moves. We highly recommend this skatepark to anyone who is looking for a fun and challenging place to skate.
