My Experience

My Experience at New Haw Skatepark

Last week, my friends and I visited New Haw Skatepark for the first time. We were all excited to try out the metal ramps on the tarmac base. The park is a small one but has everything you need for a fun skateboarding session.

The back and forth run with a quarter pipe and flat bank either side of a funbox was our favorite spot. We loved the variety it offered, and we spent a good chunk of our time there. The quarter pipe was smooth, and we were able to get some air time with ease. The funbox was the highlight, though. It was perfect for trying out new tricks and spending time practicing old ones. The flat bank was a bit tricky to get used to, but once we did, it was a great addition to the park.

The park was not crowded, and we were able to skate without any interruptions. We saw a few skateboarding enthusiasts doing some impressive tricks, which motivated us to try out some new things too.

The only downside we noticed was that some of the ramps had a bit of rust, making them a bit slippery. However, it did not hinder our experience too much, and we still had a great time.
