Discover Micklefield Skatepark: A Unique Transitions-based Skatepark

Located just outside of town, Micklefield Skatepark is a small, yet impressive all-concrete skatepark built in 2009. As a transitions-based park, it offers a creative mix of street elements that cater to both transition and street skaters.

Starting in one corner, the park features a raised platform where the street area is situated. The street area boasts a variety of obstacles, including stair sets, ledges, hubbas, and manny pads. Moving on from the street area, the large transitions section takes center stage, offering bowls, hips, quarter pipes, spines, volcanoes, bump, and a taco. This section has been creatively designed to allow skaters to flow around the course effortlessly, pumping and without needing to push at all.

Micklefield Skatepark has a unique layout, unlike any other skatepark you have ever visited. The transitions section is the main attraction of the park and is where the park shines the most. With its well-designed layout, it will make you want to spend all day there, no matter whether you are a transition skater or not.

The skatepark has been built exceptionally well, providing a fantastic spot for skaters of all levels. It is a place where the street section may lack, but the rest of the course more than makes up for it with its intricate and creative transitions. My Experience

Review of Micklefield Skatepark

Last week, my friends and I decided to check out Micklefield skatepark and we were not disappointed. Located on the outskirts of town, this concrete park was built in 2009 and offers a unique layout like no other.

Starting in one corner, the park features a street area with stair sets, ledges, hubbas, and manny pads. While the street section is small, it still offers some fun obstacles to skate. However, the main attraction of this park is the large transitions section which features bowls, hips, quarter pipes, spines, volcanoes, bump, and a taco. The transitions are creatively designed, allowing you to flow around the course all day by pumping and without having to push once.

What we loved about Micklefield skatepark is that it caters to both transition skaters and street skaters. While the street section is small, it is still fun to skate and the transitions section is truly amazing. The park has been well designed and has a very unique layout that makes it stand out from other skateparks.

One of my friends who is a transition skater couldn’t stop raving about the park. He said that the transitions were some of the best he had ever skated and that he could spend hours just flowing around the course. Another friend who is more into street skating also enjoyed the park and said that the street section offered some fun obstacles to skate.
