My Experience

Last week, I had the chance to visit Longwick Skatepark and test out my skills on its concrete terrain. The park is set out as a back and forth run and features a range of obstacles that challenged me in different ways.

At one end of the park, there’s a quarter-pipe, which was great for practicing my transitions and catching some air. At the other end, there’s a bank, which was perfect for trying out some tricks and testing my balance.

In between these two main features, there are two raised banks with a rail on one of them. I loved using these banks to build up speed and try out some grinds, and the rail added an extra challenge that kept things interesting.

One thing I really appreciated about Longwick Skatepark was the flatground area off to the side of the back and forth run. This gave me a chance to practice my ollies and other basic tricks without getting in the way of other skaters.

Overall, I had a great time at Longwick Skatepark, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a challenging and varied skating experience. The park is well-designed and maintained, and I especially appreciated the range of obstacles that allowed me to try out a variety of tricks and techniques. Whether you’re a seasoned skater or just starting out, Longwick Skatepark is definitely worth a visit!
