My Experience

A Great Time at Llantwit Major Skatepark

Last week, my friends and I visited Llantwit Major Skatepark and had a blast. The park is made up of skatelite ramps on a tarmac base, and it’s perfect for skateboarders of all levels.

The highlight of the park is the large mini-ramp with a quarter-pipe attached to one end. My friend Jack, who is an experienced skater, loved this ramp and said it was one of the best he’s ever ridden. He spent most of his time carving and doing tricks on it. Meanwhile, my other friend Lily, who is a beginner, preferred the smaller ramps and the funbox. She felt more comfortable practicing her basic tricks on these obstacles.

One thing we all appreciated about the park was its layout. The ramps are well-placed, and there’s plenty of space for skaters to move around without bumping into each other. There were a few other people at the park when we visited, but it didn’t feel crowded at all.

Another great thing about the park is that it’s free and open to the public. We didn’t have to pay anything to use it, which was a big plus. The only downside is that there aren’t any facilities nearby, so we had to bring our own snacks and drinks.
