My Experience

Last week, my friends and I decided to check out Llanrumney skatepark, and boy was it a blast! The park is made up of skatelite ramps on a tarmac base, which provides the perfect surface for skating. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by a back and forth run that featured a quarter pipe and flat bank either side of a funbox. It was exciting to see such a variety of obstacles in one place, and we couldn’t wait to test them out.

Of course, we had to warm up first, so we spent some time getting comfortable on the ramps and practicing our tricks. The park wasn’t too busy, which was a relief since we didn’t want to have to wait our turn. But even when a few more skaters showed up, there was still plenty of space for everyone to skate without getting in each other’s way.

One thing that really stood out to us about Llanrumney skatepark was the quality of the ramps. They were well-maintained and felt really sturdy, which made it easy for us to focus on our skating instead of worrying about the condition of the ramps. Plus, the park had a great layout that allowed us to flow from one obstacle to the next without any awkward transitions.
