My Experience

Last week, I went to Llanelli skatepark with my best friends, and it was an absolute blast! The skatepark is primarily made up of metal ramps on a tarmac base, which might not sound like much, but it’s actually really cool. The back and forth run features quarter pipes and flat banks on either side of funboxes, which makes for some pretty sick tricks.

What I loved most about Llanelli skatepark was how smooth the surface was. I’ve been to other skateparks where the ground is uneven, and it makes it so much harder to pull off tricks. But with the tarmac base, it was easy to maintain speed and keep my balance. I also appreciated that there was plenty of space to skate around without bumping into other people.

Another thing that stood out to me was the variety of ramps. There were small ones for beginners, and bigger ones for more experienced skaters. Plus, the funboxes were a really fun addition. I was able to grind and ollie all over them, and it added a whole new level of excitement to my skating.

One downside to the skatepark was that it was pretty crowded. There were a lot of other skaters there, which meant that sometimes I had to wait my turn to go down a ramp. But honestly, that’s just part of the experience, and it was still a ton of fun.

So grab your board and head on over – you won’t regret it! Trust me, the smooth surface and variety of ramps make Llanelli skatepark one of the best places to skate in the area.
