Last week, I went to Stukeley Meadows skatepark with my best friends and had a blast! This outdoor skatepark is one of the biggest in Cambridgeshire and definitely lives up to the hype. We were impressed by the metal ramps on a concrete base, which gave the park a cool industrial feel.

The park is branded as a street park, but there are some nice flowing transitions here as well. We loved the variety of obstacles, which included mini ramps, quarter pipes, flat banks, driveways, funboxes, roll overs, hips and plenty of grind opportunities. There were also some more creative obstacles that we hadn’t seen at other parks, like multi-level platforms with waves and double banks.

Overall, we thought the layout was fairly original and offered a lot for all types of riders, regardless of ability level. We spent hours trying out different lines and testing our skills on the various obstacles. The park definitely lived up to its reputation and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun day out.

One thing we appreciated was the fact that the park wasn’t too overcrowded, even on a weekend. It was great to be able to ride without constantly dodging other people or waiting in long lines. Plus, the atmosphere was really relaxed and laid-back, which added to the overall experience.
