My Experience

Rollin’ at Hopeman Skatepark

Last week, I went to Hopeman Skatepark with my squad and I have to say, it was a blast! The park is made up of skatelite ramps on a tarmac base, which gives it a smooth and even surface.

The variety of obstacles at the park is impressive. They have a mini ramp, flat banks, quarter pipes, driveways, jump boxes, roll ins, rails, ledges, hubbas and manny pads. It’s perfect for skaters of all skill levels. Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, you’ll find something that suits your style.

My personal favorite was the jump box. It’s just the right size and has a smooth transition, making it easy to get some serious air. The manny pads are also a lot of fun. They’re great for working on your balance and footwork.

The park wasn’t too crowded when we went, which was a bonus. We had plenty of space to skate and didn’t have to wait too long for our turn on the obstacles. The atmosphere was pretty chill too. Everyone was just there to have a good time and do their thing.
