My Experience

A Fun Day at Haverhill’s Howe Road Skatepark

Last week, my friends and I decided to check out Haverhill’s Howe Road skatepark. We were all excited to try out the ramps and see what the park had to offer. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed our experience at this local skatepark.

Upon arriving, we noticed that the skatepark was quite small, but it had all of the obstacles that we were looking for. The ramps were arranged in a back and forth pattern, starting with a mini ramp on one side and ending with a flat bank and quarter pipe on the other side. In between, we found a jump box, spine, and ledge to play around with.

One thing that really impressed us was the smooth surfaces of the ramps. This made it easy for us to practise our tricks and manoeuvres without worrying about bumps or cracks. We also appreciated the fact that the skatepark was made entirely of concrete, which gave it a modern and urban feel.

While the layout of the skatepark was not the most original, we still had fun trying out different combinations of tricks and jumps. It was also great to see a mix of skaters and BMX riders using the park, which created a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
