Last week, I went to Hampton Hargate Skatepark with my best friends, and it was an absolute blast! The park is a concrete plaza style, with a bowl for that extra bit of fun. We were all really impressed with the design, and it’s no wonder – the park was built by Wheelscape in 2015.
As soon as we got there, we couldn’t wait to get started. We were all itching to test out the bowl – it looked so smooth and inviting. And we weren’t disappointed! The bowl was just the right size for us, and we had a great time trying out different tricks and moves.
But that wasn’t the only great thing about the park. We also loved the layout of the rest of the plaza. There were plenty of different obstacles and ramps to try out, so we never got bored. And the concrete surface was really well done – it felt nice and smooth under our wheels, so we could really fly around without any worries.
One thing we really appreciated about Hampton Hargate Skatepark was the atmosphere. There were plenty of other skaters there, but everyone was really friendly and welcoming. We chatted to a few people and got some great tips on new tricks to try out. And it was great to see such a diverse range of ages and abilities – there were some seriously talented skaters there, but also plenty of beginners like us.
All in all, we had an amazing time at Hampton Hargate Skatepark. It’s a really well-designed park, with plenty of different obstacles and a great atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back! If you’re looking for a fun and challenging skatepark, this is definitely one to check out.
