My Experience

Last week, my best friends and I headed to Godmanchester Skatepark for some fun and adventure. This concrete park was built by Maverick back in August 2019 and we were excited to finally check it out. We were not disappointed!

The park is situated in a lovely location and the atmosphere was great. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the original metal skatepark which featured a funbox and rail on a tarmac base. It was just the perfect scene for us to kick-off our skateboarding session.

The concrete park is what really caught our attention though. The design was brilliant and the park had everything we needed to have a blast. The park had a lot of obstacles to tackle including a large bowl, a flat bank, ledges, rails, and a quarter pipe. It was so much fun trying to skate on all these features and we all had a great time.

The park was not too crowded, which made it even more enjoyable. We had enough space to skate and try out whatever tricks we wanted without worrying about getting in someone else’s way. The park was also clean and well-maintained which made it more appealing to us.

One of the things that we loved about this skatepark was the fact that it was perfect for both beginners and experts. The design of the park made it easy for beginners to start learning the basics of skateboarding while also providing enough challenges for experienced skateboarders to hone their skills.

In conclusion, we had an incredible time at Godmanchester Skatepark. The atmosphere was lovely, the park was clean, and the design was fantastic. It is definitely a place where we would love to go back to and spend more time. If you are looking for a great skatepark to try out, Godmanchester Skatepark should definitely be on your list!
