My Experience

I had a blast at Fulbourn Skatepark with my best buds last weekend! This metal skatepark is an absolute gem and perfect for skateboarders of all skill levels. What I loved most about this park is that it’s situated on a tarmac base, which ensures a smooth ride. Plus, the back and forth style skatepark is perfect for those who want to practice their tricks.

The park boasts an impressive range of facilities, including a half-pipe, quarter-pipe, flat bank, roll-in ramp, step, and rail. We spent hours trying out different moves and challenging each other. The half-pipe was definitely our favorite, and we spent most of our time there. The roll-in ramp was a close second, and we loved the adrenaline rush it gave us.

The park was built by Caloo in 2015, and they did a fantastic job. The £40,000 cost was definitely worth it, as this skatepark has become a popular spot for skateboarders in the area. We went on a Saturday afternoon, and the park was buzzing with activity. There were skaters of all ages, and everyone was having a great time.

One thing to note is that the park can get quite busy, especially on weekends. However, we didn’t have any issues finding a spot to skate, and everyone was respectful of each other’s space. We even made some new friends while we were there!
