My Experience

Rolling through Ruislip’s Field End Recreation Ground Skatepark

Last week, me and my gang decided to hit up Ruislip’s Field End Recreation Ground Skatepark for some skating fun. And let me tell you, this place did not disappoint!

The skatepark is made of concrete and has a great mix of back-and-fourth features and plaza-style obstacles. It’s perfect for skaters of all levels, whether you’re a newbie or a pro.

What I loved most about this park is that it’s new – it was built in August 2018 – so everything feels fresh and smooth. The concrete is still nice and slick, which made for some really smooth grinds and slides.

A standout feature of this skatepark is definitely the rail section. There are a few different rails to choose from, including a flat rail and a round rail. The flat rail is great for practicing grinds, while the round rail is perfect for getting some air and pulling off some sick tricks.

But it’s not just the rails that make this park great. There are also some fun banks and ledges to skate, as well as a few quarter pipes. There’s even a small pyramid in the middle of the park, which was great for tricking off of.
