My Experience

Thrilling Skateboarding Experience at Farnham Skatepark

Last week, my friends and I visited the Farnham Skatepark and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. The park, also known as ‘Nam’ Skatepark, is a remarkable concrete plaza located just outside the Farnham Leisure Centre. What stands out the most about the skatepark is its unique Farnham red colour which gives it a cool vibe.

As we arrived at the skatepark, we were thrilled to see the beautifully designed raised plaza section, stair and rail set, gap and rail, quarter pipe to flat bank section with jumpbox and numerous curved blocks and ledges. The skatepark had a lot of skaters and BMX riders showcasing their skills and tricks which made the environment lively and exciting.

Despite the park being busy, everyone was courteous and we didn’t have any issues sharing the space. The Farnham Skatepark Association (FSA), a non-profit organization, manages and maintains the park, and we were impressed by how well organised and clean it was.

My friend, who is a professional skateboarder, said that the park had an excellent layout that allowed him to perform a variety of tricks. My other friend, who is a beginner, was also able to learn new skills and improve his skateboarding techniques. We spent several hours at the skatepark and the time flew by so fast because we were having so much fun.
