Following these, there is an up and down kicker with hubbas, rail, and a euro gap. Finally, both sections join at the final raised level with a hipped bank that features a euro gap, pole jam, stair set, hubba, and rail. On the backside, there is a quarter pipe with an extension.

Devizes Skatepark: A Spot for Everyone

Last week, my friends and I visited Devizes Skatepark, a park designed and built by Wheelscape and opened in 2014. Situated next to the hospital, the park is a loop with street and transition features.

Starting on one side, the park has a hipped quarter pipe with two extensions, leading off into two runs. The first has a hipped bank, rail, wall ride, and raised level with stair sets & hubbas up and down, geared for street skating. The other features a jump box, a double roll-over leading to a hipped quarter pipe with opposite quarters to form a mini ramp. Following this, there’s an up and down kicker with hubbas, rail, and a euro gap. Finally, the two sections join with a hipped bank that features a euro gap, pole jam, stair set, hubba, and rail, and on the backside, a quarter pipe with an extension.
