My Experience

My Experience at Cottons Skatepark

Last week, I went to Cottons Skatepark in Romford’s Cottons park with my mates and it was a blast! The skatepark is massive, with plenty of space to ride and show off your tricks.

The ramps are well-made and the surface is smooth, which makes for a great ride. Most of the ramps are surfaced with composite, but some are full-metal, which adds a bit of variety to the park.

The series of back-and-forth runs between quarter pipes with obstacles in between is my favorite feature of the skatepark. It allows for some really cool lines and lets you build up some serious speed. The mini ramp and fun box are also great additions to the park, and provide some nice transition skating opportunities.

If you’re into flatland skating, there’s an open tarmac area that’s perfect for it. It’s a bit smaller than the rest of the park, but it’s still a lot of fun to cruise around in.

Overall, Cottons Skatepark is a fantastic place to skate. The atmosphere is laid-back and relaxed, and there’s always a good crowd of people there. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a new spot to ride.
