Last week, my best friends and I decided to check out the Cottenham Skatepark, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! This all-concrete park was built by Wheelscape in 2015 and has a lot to offer for skaters of all levels.
One of the first things we noticed was the mini ramp, which was perfect for warming up or practicing some tricks. But what really caught our attention was the back and forth run. It’s made up of a flat bank and a quarter pipe on either side of a pyramid, rail, and manny pad. This setup allowed us to get creative with our lines and switch things up.
The park itself is well-maintained and clean, which is always a plus. We also appreciated the fact that there were benches and tables nearby, so we could take a break or just hang out and watch other skaters do their thing.
Overall, we had a blast at the Cottenham Skatepark and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and challenging place to skate. The mini ramp and back and forth run were definite highlights of the park. If you’re ever in the area, be sure to check it out! You won’t regret it!
