My Experience

Last week I headed over to Buckingham Skatepark with my best buds, and it definitely didn’t disappoint! Nestled in a cute spot by the River Great Ouse, this small and simple all concrete skatepark was just what we were looking for.

The park is split into two sections, with a mini ramp on one side and a funbox with hubba and a jump box on the other. The mini ramp is super fun and has a quarter pipe and a flat bank coming off each of the top platforms. These then open up into the main body of the skatepark, which features a variety of basic obstacles perfect for practising your skills.

While the selection of obstacles may not be extensive, it’s definitely enough to keep you busy for a few hours. And let’s be real, sometimes it’s nice to just have a chill session without feeling like you’re in a competition.

One thing we particularly liked about Buckingham Skatepark was how quiet it was. Being a local park, it wasn’t too crowded, which meant we could really take our time trying out different tricks and not worry about getting in anyone’s way.

Overall, we had a great time at Buckingham Skatepark and will definitely be back. If you’re looking for a more challenging skate, there are other parks nearby that might suit you better. But if you’re just after a fun and relaxed session with friends, this is the perfect spot.
