Last week, my best friends and I decided to check out the Alconbury Weald Skatepark. I must say, we were blown away by the quality of the place. The concrete skatepark is part of the Morris Homes new development at Alconbury Weald, and it’s simply amazing.
As soon as we entered the park, we noticed the unique ring shape design around a small piece of grass in the centre. This gave the park a cool vibe, and we couldn’t wait to explore everything it had to offer. The small open bowl was one of our favourites, and we spent a lot of time skating around it. The quarter pipe was also a blast, and we loved the challenge of trying to land tricks on it.
Another highlight of the Alconbury Weald Skatepark was the hubba. It was the perfect size and shape for us to grind on, and we had a lot of fun trying out different tricks on it. The step, ramps, and rail were also great additions to the park, and we appreciated the variety of obstacles available.
